The total number of crankshaft orders in the first half of this year has reached nearly 100 sets, which is the total production of last year. 5 times the volume, the price of the product has also increased by an average of 5%-10% on the basis of last year. Orders for marine forgings and marine diesel engine crankshafts for the entire group have been received until 2017, and cooperation agreements have been reached with many domestic companies.


Ma Jianxing, chairman of Sunan Heavy Industry, introduced that each transformation of the company will focus on the shortcomings of the industry and expand into the field of marine equipment, which is to spot market demand and replace or even exceed imported products.

In 2006, Sunan Heavy Industry introduced two production lines of 1,250-ton and 2,500-ton forging hydraulic presses, enabling the group to have the production capacity of marine forgings under 25 tons.


In 2007, invested 500 million yuan to establish Suzhou Hengding Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. to produce semi-combined crankshafts for high-power low-speed marine diesel engines.


In the following years, the effort gradually paid off. The world’s first 6RT-Flex35 marine diesel crankshaft, developed and produced by Sunan Heavy Industry, has become my country’s first self-produced high-power, small-size and low-speed diesel engine semi-combined crankshaft, filling many gaps in my country’s marine crankshaft production. . Product transformation has driven the transformation of the enterprise, and the competitiveness of products has been linearly improved.


Recently, at the China Shipbuilding Industry's 2014 Ship Supporting Products Fair, Yang Qiankun, vice chairman of the China Shipbuilding Association, pointed out that shipbuilding enterprises and ship supporting enterprises should take a long-term view, cooperate closely, and form a joint force to provide a new generation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly ship materials. He pointed out that although there are a large number of ship supporting enterprises in my country, most of their products are mainly low-end. Compared with their counterparts in Japan and South Korea, their competitive advantages are not obvious, and there is a significant gap in R&D capabilities and key technology levels. The concentration of the entire industry It is also relatively low. At the same time, the contradiction of structural overcapacity in the shipping industry is still very prominent. Shipbuilding companies are deepening the adjustment of industrial structure and product upgrades, which puts forward higher requirements for ship supporting companies.
